On the 21st Jan 2012, a Titanium Meetup event took place in Japan organized by Kazuaki Konno, the event had a great turnout as many Ti developers from all over Japan traveled for hours to attend.

Ti Tokyo GIG report from Kazuaki

The Titanium community is Japan is so exciting!
We had 33 Titanium developers gathered from all over Japan for this event in cold reainy weather night. This was the 2nd New Year Meetup. Last year I could not imagine how big Titanium community was going to be, this year is so different. There are a huge number of Titanium developers in Japan now and more new mobile rockstars are coming out. I can really feel it’s getting more and more.

Titanium itself is a non-magnetic material. But Appcelerator Titanium attracts the developers like a magnet, it grows one after another.

Special Thanks

This was a secret to the attendees. Three video messages were shown. Those are from Appcelerator CEO Jeff, Author of Cookbook Boydlee, and LearningTi Sharry. Attendees are so surprised and pleased!

After the presentation, we saw the answers of questionnaires when they registered to attend. Question was “What do you expect from Appcelerator?”

Finally, It was so pleasure to meet with Titanium developers! We had great night, big thanks to all of you!
This time I wanted Japanese developers to know that we are in the part of Titanium community in the world and are connected to them, even though we have language barrier. So I asked video letters from people involved with Titanium they accepted my favor kindly. I really appreciated. Thank you, Jeff, Boydlee, Sharry!
